Empty Recycle Bin - Add to Desktop Context Menu

How to Add "Empty Recycle Bin" to Desktop Context Menu in Windows 7 and Windows 8

   Information
The Recycle Bin provides a safety net when deleting files or folders. When you delete any of these items from your hard disk, Windows places it in the Recycle Bin and the Recycle Bin icon changes from empty to full.

This tutorial will show you how to add or remove Empty Recycle Bin from the desktop context menu for all users on the computer in Windows 7 and Windows 8.

You must be logged in as an administrator to be able to do the steps in this tutorial, but all users will be able to use the "Empty Recycle Bin" context menu item.

Here's How:
1. To Add "Empty Recycle Bin" to the Top of the Desktop Context Menu
A) Click on the Download button below to download the file below, and go to step 4 below.

it works now.

After i changed the permission to the whole key
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
I run the script, and now i have the empty recycle bin option.
I still do not know what i have missing the subfolders for this key, but the original problem is fixed.
The icon change , the empty option is now back.
Thank you

P.S.
Do you know by any chance how to make windows 7/64 ultimate service pack 1 the font darkers.
As you can see on my screenshot they are horrible.
I use the windows classic display and no aero.
But when i open a folder, i barely can read.
Selecting a high contrast theme, it interfere with some of my programs (like PCB design )

You're most welcome George. I'm glad the original problem is now sorted.

You could test using different fonts or a bolded font using an option in the tutorial below to see if you may find one that looks better to you. I would recommend to create a restore point before doing this. This way you can do a system restore and select a restore point before this to quickly undo it if needed.

:ar: Fonts - Change
