Solved "EN" on welcome screen

I have a very minor problem. When I log off, restart, shut down on the Log off screen in the upper left, there is "EN" eclosed in a square. When the Welcome secreen comes back it's not there. It has not always been there. Anyone know why it's there and how to make it go away if possible?

Hello Gary,

Removing all keyboard input languages as described in the tutorial below may remove it for you.

Just a guess, but have you messed with any of the default settings in Region and Language? EN usually implies English,. Or en-US - English-U.S.

you are both right, SOMEHOW I had English-Zimbabwe installed.:sarc:

Removed it and the pesky icon is gone.

Thanks I've come across this problem before and fixed it myself and couldn't remember how I did it, it just happened again here (fresh install) so thanks for the reminder guys.

Oh yeah, and I also think we should point out to anyone in the future who needs thread, that you will have to reboot after following the above solution, I was myself stumped for a couple of minutes then I released I had to reboot to see the changes take effect.
