For about 5 years now we have been sucesffuly using Excahnge 2003 with Outlook 2003 as a Client. On laptops we use Exchange Cached mode so that the email can be read offline -this has worked very well under Windows XP.
We are begining the deployment of Windows 7 in our organisation and we have run into a problem, obviously in a large corporate organisation we do not wish to make users local administrators on their PC.
We now have the problem that everytime Outlook is started when it is in Exchange cached mode it appears to start installing over oand over again.
This problem disappears it you make the user a local admin on the PC.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and got a fix for it.
