Solved explorer crashes

turns out there were options in there to remove the context menu entries.. that said l would have found the force delete useful too but both options required me to buy a licence, it just opened a box with a couple of options one of which was as stated "buy licence" the other option was to enter it..

That is strange. The Force Delete option when right clicking a file works fine for me without a license!

Well I wouldn't worry too much about getting it to work. It's a guess from me but typically I right click the UVK installer file and run as administrator when installing. Possibly that makes a difference.

didnt for me, still no biggie, as of yet had none of the problems ld come to expect, still no explorer crashes on either PC/Laptop.. may take longer to reproduce the bsod on the laptop however lm hoping lve resolved that issue too... would be nice if steps lve taken helped.

Well you could uninstall UVK. However if you want to keep it then maybe consider uninstalling the current version (will require a reboot) and install this older version.

The older version linked is the last of the old versions written in AutoIt

It has since been re-written in C++ and is constantly being updated. That means features being added or removed and bugs being fixed plus any third party tools download links being fixed if the download URL's for them change.

The AutoIt version might work better for you but you'd need to disable auto update checks for new versions.

l used the portable version, and considering its usefulness from what looked at l plan to keep it around as it saves time and effort.. you could say its become part of a growing list of apps and utilities l have stored to save time and make installing etc easier.
