EXTERNAL ssd checking software

Hi there

Anybody know of any software to perform checks on SSD's attached to the system EXTERNALLY.

All the software I see will only perform stuff if the SSD was the BOOT device unless you ("go pro" i.e pay !!).

I'd like to check out 2 or 3 SSD's before I actually fit them into a system.

Hello Jimbo mate have you tried the AS SSD Benchmark one? Seems odd that you can't check an external without having to pay for it - a bit like say doing a chkdsk on one and Windows asking for more money to do it??

Good point Jack I just took it to be a benchmark Jimbo was trying to do.
