External USB Drives Spinning Down Often...

has anyone else noticed their external usb drives spinning down more often with windows 7? power management setting is set to high performance and to never turn off hard drives. i didnt see this issue under vista. having to wait those few seconds for the drive to spin back up when i access the drive frustrates me!!

Sometimes i have to wait a good 15 seconds before i can even open the recycle bin, don't even get me started on WMC (all of my films are stored on the external HDD)
Anyhoo, try this app, works fine for me.

Awesome! I was wondering if there was a cure. Just did a little digging and found out a lot of external HDDs are hardcoded to sleep after a set period regardless of what the OS says. So yeah, problematic but hopefully this app will help me.
