Hey guys

this is a great and detailed tutorial and all worked as explained except to the last step...

I still can't get into my account, what sucks big time.

It looks like the password has been changed as the error message is not the same when I enter a wrong password.

It says some like "failed to load the user Profile" or to "failure to connect to the service to load the User" (it's in another language so I translate the best I can.

When I hit the OK button the login page will reload.

I ain't get the link to reset a new password in that process, that one I get only when I enter a wrong password. Anyhow, I don't have a password reset disc (unfortunately)

QUESTION

Can I use above tutorial and simply REMOVE any kind of password from keeping me out of my W7?

I can get till the last prompt where the tutorial shows to enter a new password, so maybe I can do this to get rid of the password too?

Would be awesoome

Thanks for Any Help whatsoever

I would like to know whyI dont have a longe file in the file path you mentioned?

I did first check that using my boot disc, using the prompt and regedit

Or is that only accurate after accessing over safe mode?

I start to getting nervous messing around with all those data details

I mistakenly posted today in 2 other threads about password resetting,
while the problem is what you guy's resolve here, maybe you delete
the other posts.

tks

Did you try doing the system restore at boot if that's an available option for you?

Yeah, you'll need to be in logged in to Safe Mode as an administrator or an administrator account in Windows if you wanted to try and manually fix this.
