My only query is that why does one get hardly 1 or few errors vs. at other times plus 20.....answer to that probably is MS servers, timing of install

Like there are approx. 20 .NET 3.5.1 and 3 security for .NET 3.5.1 X86...... 20 get installed fine but with the 3 security for 3.5.1 get an error, at times...pretty strange.

From what I can understand of this process

You'd need to disconnect from the internet
1) start over with your win-7 sp1 install
2) manually install KB3020369

3) manually install KB3125574

Both of these updates have to be downloaded using ie11 in advance to a somewhat large flash drive so you can install them in order without an internet connection

If windows restarts after installing with a black screen for a while use Ctrl+Alt+Delete key board keys which will hopefully exit the black screen.

1 last point before I continue updating, like posted earlier I feel user framework in recommended, should be installed after W7 updating is done and is current, and be installed for MS Off, when ever I install it with W7 I get error/errors....any logic?

Neither one are listed in those instruction so you need to forget all prior instruction completely.

Shawn's tutorial is a highly refined form of what MS support 2 engineers/ support were trying to remotely access and do with none results.... Spent 6-8 sessions with them each lasting 4-6 hrs...

Wow this is so weird I guess I should stop
This update showed up oddly on the windows update list in the optional section
I assume after downloading the I though was a browser add-on :/

1) Use Option 3 here to clear the history.. with Brink's .bat file download to your desktop

Switch your update setting to Never check for updates temporarily

After the above manually install these

After that manually check for updates

This method works if one gets errors. Starting with your earlier recommended.

If I use the MS W7 DVD, get stuck after installation of SP1 and Windows Update Agent, it keeps on checking for updates for ever....like in the start of this thread?
