Hello, this morning my computer stopped working correctly. It is a work computer, and of course the IT department is off when it stops working. When I start my computer, it asks me to start repair mode. Like many posts I was reading the computer couldn't find windows driver. After reading some things, someone suggested that to shutoff computer, take out battery, and hold down power button. After putting battery back in, and turning on, the Lenovo screen appears first then only a black screen with "fdfd" in the corner blinking. Nothing seems to work. Please, any help would be much appreciated.

No, I am simply trying to boot up my computer from the hard-drive. At least that is what I think I want to do. Do you know what "fdfd" means?

I have no idea. It is the only thing I see when I turn my laptop on with an all black screen. Nothing on the keyboard changes it.

"FD" means Flash drive.... You may have to wait until your IT guy gets in on Monday.
