I got a new Corsair Force LS 120GB SSD. Had problems with CPU so replaced my old FX-8150 with a FX-8370 on a Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 board.

Used Rufus to Create my Windows 7 bootable USB device.

Installation and setup process loaded successful. Created partitions on SSD, did initial installation, until first mandatory restart.

After restart I get a message , set-up is unable to continue due to some kind of component registration failure. You need to reboot and try again. And it stay stuck after each reboot at the same point to finalize the installation.

Been using Windows 7 ultimate for 4 years now and it is the first ever time I had an a problem during the installation process.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Downloaded Windows 7 with SP1 ISO file. Then burnt with Rufus to USB stick.

Used same image 3 weeks ago to help my brother to do a clean install. All difference is that he has Corsair Vengeance RAM (DDR3-1866) and a 120GB Corsair Force GT SSD. Also on a Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 motherboard.

Will download the WinToBootic software and see if it makes a difference.

Thanks for the reply
