Frequent explorer.exe crashing

HI Everyone,

I'm a new member of your community, so please be indulgent if my post is not up to your expectation for troubleshooting. I have this issue for a month and a half now and I'm running out of ideas...

Explorer.exe is crashing at random times and frequently, according to the Event viewer... 117 times yesterday.

Here's what I tried:

• I read that it could be related to non-microsoft handler so I desactivated them. No success
• I have scan for viruses with microsoft essentials. Nothing was found.
• I did a fresh install of windows, the error was back the same day.
• I did a second install of windows, same results.

I'm thinking hardware now... but what could make only explorer.exe crashing because of hardware ?

My operating system is isolated on a SSD and I try to keep it only for this purpose. Maybe I could run some kind of memtest for SSD ?

In the last 4 hours I have also experimented 2 BSOD :0x00000124

Any thoughts ?

The zip you uploaded does not contain any crash dump.

Go to Option Two, Point 2. Download the .reg file and merge it in registry by double clicking it.

Search the .dmp files manually in the default path: C:\Windows\Minidump or %SystemRoot%\Minidump. Post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.
