Hello all,

I have a new ibuypower trace 930 gaming pc, however, when opening up the case to install an accessory, i accidentally pulled a cable. The cable appears to run to my power button because i must have it plugged in. my problem though is i don't know where it was in the first place, so i plugged it in a 2 pin plug a little above it because that is 2 pin as well.

But now my PC powers on when hitting the button, powers off, back on, and it boots just fine. anyone know why this is? did i plug it in the wrong port?

Thank you

Good time to take pictures of the inside of your case while you have it open. Document the installation with photos (cabling, dip/jumper selections, etc) helps greatly when doing additional HW installs and troubleshooting something. Especially when you have to de-install a component to troubleshoot and then re-install it. Glad you got things working!
