Hi guys,

Ive had my OS on my SSD for a year now and its starting to get slow. Is there a LEGIT program to check through all my files for corrupted ones and clear out anything unnecessary?

Ccleaner does a great job of getting rid of junk files.

Not sure about general files, but you can always scan for system file corruption using a command in CMD known as
"sfc/scannow" It will attempt to repair any system files that it finds corrupted or broken.

And for junk files, and or unnecessary data.
Run a disk cleanup within windows and afterward a disk defragment.

Yeah I use the Defrag, CCleaner & Diskclean up. I have done the file verification and attached results if someone could scan and have a look to see what needs to be done.

Please run it 3 different times, for best results. I unfortunately am not skilled enough to understand whats in the CBS log though. I will say though if sfc/scannow can't really fix system files within 3 times, then a windows 7 disc would be the best option. Although i don't think you will need to go that far.
At the bottom of the CBS log it states "2012-08-21 03:14:44, Info CSI 00000367 [SR] Verify and Repair Transaction completed. All files and registry keys listed in this transaction have been successfully repaired" and there seems to be a lot of keys, so i would say the scan did offer benefits

Just a little reminder that no manufacture of SSD's recommend using a defragger of any kind on their SSD. It doesn't hurt to run sfc /scannow 4 times after a reboot. If it doesn't find any problems it will state so when its done without looking at the log which most of us can't read and understand anyway. Just make sure every time you run sfc /scannow you reboot.

Done all this now, I always defrag and run ccleaner but done the scan thing now as well. Anything else that will help to get rid of cobwebs ?

Delete files u dont use or wont use, and use programs and features to uninstall things you do not use.

Or You can use revo uninstaller or iobit uninstaller to uninstall programs more completely.

I posted the latest error I got :/ I have tried everything :/ getting kinda annoying now haha Might have to get a new card and might do a fresh install.
