Halo update error?

Hey, whenever I try updating my halo combat evolved game it keeps saying that I need administrative rights but I am the admin of my computer. How do I fix this I already set User Control to never warn me. There are pics also. So is this a trojan or what?

It's Halo CE being old as dirt. I could never get it to update either. I'm pretty sure the updates don't work on 7. Remember, the game came out in 2003 (XBOX version in 2001). You could try right clicking Haloupdate and clicking Run as Admin (yes, even with UAC turned off you still need to do that), but don't get your hopes up.

I had the same error, and found the solution in a different thread:

You need to go into program files, then run haloupdate.exe as administrator, and it will update successfully.
