Hi all, I am trying to do a disk image with Macrium Reflect, I have formatted the drive using NTFS however my drive of 640gb is only showing 750mb in file explorer (Imgur: The magic of the Internet).

Not really sure what's up with this, unless it like a corrupted partion or something. Previously there was a 230gb backup on it, deleted that to make space, formatted it using file explorer, came back, and then tried to do a full backup and know it says this. I think this is a fairly common problem there should be an easy solution, saying I am not the only one who it has happened to.

Any ideas?

The drive is 931G and has 5 partitions (one is hidden). Don't think you ever had a 640 G E: partition.
It may be an external drive that had the backup.

E: is useless. I would copy any existing files on it and then I would delete the partition and expand the C: partition.

You should never put a partition backup on same disk

what do you mean? need clarification

nvm, turns out to it wasn't properly plugged in (the hard drive external) and one part of the allocation of the partion was from C to E and it only allocated less than a gig.
so yeah... backing up windows now on my 580gb sata.

You said that you want to make a C: backup and save it to E: .
C: & E: are on the same drive. If the drive fails, you loose both.

I changed the drive letter to F and used Macrium to backup, now 24 percent overall completed, beforehand it said there was an i/o error but it's fine now...

so yeah, it's all working now.
