Hdd to ssd

Need to ask if instaling a ssd as boot drive and haveing a 1tb hdd that was my maine bootdrive and that has all my music and photos and games and itunes .
ssd well be drive C and the 1tb drive well be drive D
how can I get wmp to find all my music?
itune,s i have a iphone ,howwell it find all the stuff to play music and sync my phone?
origin game client I well just redownload origin and bf3,
adobe lightroom, can I just use it from the drive D ,or do i have to install it to drive/c and just save the photos to drive D? it was fast as i needed on the hdd
photos i should be able to find
I tend to overanalyze things I dont know about and I know nada about ssd's
The ssd I am instaling is a intel 520 120gig it seemed to have a lot of good reviews

You can change your libraries so that they can be accessed from a different drive by using this tutorial.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/18629-user-folders-change-default-location.html Once you get it changed so that you access from your C: drive, then it would be the same for the iPhone. == You can put all of your files, games, etc on the D: drive and use the tutorial so you can click on C: just like before and the files open in D:.

OK so it well not move all the stuff to the ssd drive C ....
it well just let the drive C known all the stuff is on drive D

right clicking the music library will give you a window to add folders ,just add the music folder on your D: drive.
then have wmp build its library, you should see it updating when you open wmp.

Unplug all other HD's when you Clean Install Windows 7 to the SSD.

You'll need to reinstall all of your programs. That size SSD should fit all of them, a System-Managed paging file and the Hibernate file if you want to use that modern feature perfected in Win7.

To link data from the HD, copy the User folders into a dedicated data partition, rightclick each to link to the related Library - Include a Folder - Windows 7 Forums.

Then from the yellow info box in User Folders - Change Default Location set the data drive's User folder to be the default one for saving files. You can also use the steps in this tutorial to physically move the User folders but be aware that this will effectively make the data partition a System drive so it will need to be included in your use Win7 backup imaging. That's why you may instead use Libraries to get around this consequence.

During the transition you can boot the old Win7 form the HD using the one-time BIOS boot menu key. When ready Mark Partition Inactive so you can delete it in Disk Mgmt, then repartition or resize the data drive into the deleted space: Partition Wizard Resize Partition - Video Help.

Since you are installing a Intel SSD, you can download from Intel the "Intel Data Migration Software powered by Acronis".

First move all your data files to another partition or external drive, leaving only the programs and OS on the HDD. Next defrag the HDD. Install the SSD drive using a free SATA connection and run the migration program. After it completes the transfer, swap the SATA cables on the two drives and you can boot with the SSD.

Copy your data back to the original drive if you moved them to an external drive. Rename the data folders and right click and select "include in libraries".

Only do this if you are satisfied your system is running perfectly, otherwise follow the advice given by GregRocker!
