HELP about to shoot myself

Okay, somehow I loss my internet connection and was not able to figure out how to fix it. Had been working great for a while, so it was not a hardware issue.
Well I decide to download WIN 8 to work with my Win 7 computer.
The WIN8 computer has a direct connection and Win7 is wireless.

I cannot get either computer to let me change it from private to home or work and visa versa.
There is no customize where I can easily switch between home/work and public on either computer.

What do I have to do???????

Anyway,

So I saw this helpful info, but it does not work for home premium edition. Most likely MS made this product so great they thought, that who would need to get into Policy Editor.

Below I believe is my problem, so how is it fixed on WIN7 Home Edition???????????????
