Help Crysis 1- how to get out of vehicle?

I need to know what I have to do to get out of vehicles in CRYSIS 1 (original). I can get in and drive (sort of) but I get locked in. Is it a keyboard key? I know it will be something simple, so simple that I can't find it anywhere.
Help appreciated.

I can't remember for certain but it should be either e or f

Barring that look at the keyboard config in the options and make sure the setting isn't blanked out.

Forget about what letter the book says it is, more so if you bind it to a different keystroke... I want to say that the same Key you use to get in (whether F or E) is the same key you need to use to get out but I am not 100% sure because it has been a while since I play the game. I do believe I am correct in this assumption though.

Thanks people. I will go try now, as I must have to get close to or look at the door or handle first. I pressed every key I thought, but have just crawled into and wasted the KPA base in Relic 3.1 so have time now to experiment. EA

Yes the F key was the one. Couldn't use it as the bad guys hammered the vehicle, that must have been the reason. Now I can get in and fire the machine gun too. Hoo haa.

Yup you're spot on..same key for both actions and its F from memory. I have the game somewhere lol.
