Help me please about ram!

Hello, please help me i want to know! I have 2 crucial 4GB single DDR3-1600 rams, and i want add another 2 rams! If i put other brand rams with crucial, will it work fine? I want to speed up my pc! Your help will be much appreciated! Thanks

It's better to use all same make but any will do if the speed etc is the same. What are you running to need so much ram have you got an SSD as that's the best way to speed up a system with normal hd

no i do not have SD! i use Hard disk`s! but i can not find the same model now! they are old but good! i opened chrome and play world of tanks! i just want it to be more speedy and strong! it is not less now! what numbers i should be aware of to buy extra ram for helping the other 2 4Gb of rams?!

I wold say you don't need more RAM. As Samuria suggested, a SSD would improve your computer more than adding RAM.
A Small (128G) SSD is all you need. And it cost only US$25.

Download HWinfo . Extract and run. It's a poortable, don't need to install.
It's important to buy same speed and same timings (CAS latency).
As you already have 2 sticks, also buy 2 more sticks to preserve Dual-Channel

You need to consider what you use regularly. If you usually use only 2-4 gb then getting another 8 would be mostly wasted and not help your speed at all. Try running everything you might possibly run at once (even if it is more than you normally run at once) and see how much ram you are using. If you are using say 5 gb or less then getting an extra 8 isn't going to help. If you normally run 7 or more then more ram will help. It is an incorrect assumption that the more you can have the better when it comes to ram. 16 gb of ram is no faster than 8. What's important is making sure that you have enough.

If you do decide on adding RAM modules - make sure the internal architecture of the newbies matches the oldies, which match what the motherboard calls for.
