Heey greg .. i found a way to get back the smart center back ! i think no one did it before ! what i did is , went to my computer.. i went to the D , it shows just the recovery file and nothing in it right? though i unhide the files it shows nothing there.. No matter , i went and wrote D:\hp ! Viola ! the files actually came up .. soo i went to the apps , and there a bunch of em .. not all did work , but the touchsmart software.. found the installation installed it..
When i finished installing it , it was all there but it didn't work.. so i was thinking for a moment.. had a idea , went to the Hp site .. downloaded the update for the touchsmart software and it worked !! Samething applies to the media center and other programs but not all of them works.. Im sure Hp is gona be pissed , lol.
And im pretty sure there is a way to get back the recovery because if i got the touchsmart software back , then why not the recovery too ! I think i should post the steps in order to get the touchsmart software back since many people are looking for a solution and no one seems to help them..
