Help on UAC softwares

I can login alright its just that i was greeted with the welcome screen which wasnt there previously before applying the method in 2nd post.. Its just anoying.. Usually i restart my pc and i can go out and when im back its already on desktop but now i have to wait for the welcome screen and click and then it will bring to the desktop..that is why i want to isable the welcome screen

Ahh, OK. I've been misunderstanding you throughout then. Sorry about that. I thought that the logon screen had appeared and you couldn't log on. Once again, sorry.

Anyway, I think Brink's post right at the start is the best way, I use it myself! :D

Hello eviliony,

You could use the tutorial below to set that user account to be logged into automatically at startup. Just do not enter a password since you do not have one.

that didnt help either... its okay then.. i planned to change my system hdd maybe early next month because it gives out ticking sound of death already... so yea.. i think i can stand with the login screen for few days until its been replaced and formatted.. thanks for the helps and suggestions anyway guys...

Did you already try creating a password for the user acccount, then set it up to be logged on to automatically with the new password?

yes tried that but still the welcome screen is there .. and when i click it didnt ask for password.. *sigh*

Try creating another account and set a passowrd, just to test. Then delete the test account. See if that allows you to auto logon
