HELP!!!!

my system froze up, i pressed the restart button on my PC and it loaded slowly to the desktop and win7 tells me that i am on a temp account?!? all my info for programs has been deleted! what happen?! what do i do?

well, technically not all deleted but all info for programs are gone, my desktop pic is the default, the icon in the taskbar are default, everything is there but as if i just installed it and all the data of it is gone? did i do something wrong?

You say you are on a temp account.

Did you navigate to "C:\Users\Your User Name here\" to see if your original profile with your files exists?

At this point its moot... its possible that by doing a repair install you can recover from whatever damage was done.. other than that, you will need to do a reinstall of the OS.. Did you back your data up??

system repair and restore didn't do anything, i am still on some temp account, in my user folder there is "Dave" "public" "TEMP" and "TEMP.Dave-PC" i'll take a guess that i am on TEMP.dave-PC right? what do i do to get on my normal account with all my info?

At this point I would do a reinstall of the OS.... I know that this is probably not what you want to hear, but I dont see any alternative at this point...

If you read those tutorial you notice due to unidentyfied reason system mistake and redirected to profile which don't exist and then profile don't exist it will create another profile - this is your temp profile.Your oryginal profile still exist but when you login system redirect you to new profile (TEMP) not for your old original -thus your original settings gone.Please read exactly those tutorial (for 7 is the same like for Vista).If you don't understand how to fix profile make log from profiles:download this User Profile View UserProfilesView - View user profiles information on your Windows and post log here

Are you logged on as Admin? Do you have UAC turned on?

You lost admin rights or this only tool mistake?

Run cmd.exe and type

net user Dave

and post result here.I want also log from UserProfilesView because to fix this issue I need also users SID.

how do i see the UserProfilesView? also everytime i restart a new TEMP account is created i am on the 3rd one now.

You are admin.It was only those program mistake.

UserProfileView it is program by Nirsoft.Download this program from here:http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/userprofilesview.zip ,place anywhere and run it.Next Menu>>Edit :select all,next File>>Save selected item and result attache to post
