High CPU usage, low fps, high latency.

Sounds like we have a heat problem, if it's shutting down with a cooling pad. How old is the laptop, and have you cleaned it recently?

The latop is a year and 3 months old, and yes I clean it regularly, but like I said before, I don't remember when was the last time is overheated, I think it was probably in April or so Im not really sure.

Hmm, so your processor seems fine. What I think might be happening is that your processor is getting warm and throttling back. I am not sure of a way to fix this, though, if that's the problem...

Ok, well at least that gives me place to start, Im gonna look into it, see if that is the actual problem, and see what i can find.

Hello all. Two things which I've noticed are you have some MS updates waiting and the Action center has an urgent message waiting you. Some other red flags there too.

Well three, you said you are running Avast and Avira. In most cases two AVs or firewalls running simultaneously will cause instability and high resource usage.

If the CPU is throttling due to overheat I don't think you can/want to over ride that. You'll have a fried one. It may be breaking down and will fail soon due to being hot often.

Well Im down to 1 anti virus now, and updates have been completed, since that screenshot is old. Now that I recall though I think when the new mobo was installed on this machine they never put thermal paste on the processor so I dk if that has anything to do with it.

Jeez, without thermal paste your cooler is only about 50% efficient, if that much. A laptop needs all the cooling it can get. And this was a professional tech?:sarc:
