I updated to the latest Realtek driver. Everythimg runs fine as long as I don't plug the Quickcam Pro 9000 in (different story).

But I was checking things out and noticed that I have 2 "High Definition Audio Controller" devices installed in Device Manager>System Devices.

This is a Dell MOBO with the Realtek ALC888 onboard audio.

Is it normal to have 2 "High Definition Audio Controller" devices installed?

I had a problem with audio device, also having High Definition Realtek Audio. I installed the manufacturer's drivers and everything now works fine for me :)

You have an ATI HD series of video card? If so that would be the second HD audio device you are seeing as the video card has its own audio chip on it (Realtek too, for passing audio over the HDMI connection from the card).
