how to change the color when windows 7 boots!

hi tom,

Download OTL to your desktop.
Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed to let it run uninterrupted.
When the window appears, underneath Output at the top change it to Minimal Output.
Under the Extra Registry box change it to All.
Check the boxes beside LOP Check and Purity Check.
Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time, and post it with your next reply.

i need one clarification.

If i change the settings like

will i be able to lo login into windows again or will it be a problem?Will it change any windows registry settings and will i be able to restore it to the original windows settings?will the windows load again.

Hi Mahesh,

Those settings you talk about are simply telling OTL what log to make. All this will do is make a big log containing details about your computer (running processes, services, installed programs, registry settings etc.). It won't change any settings by itself, it requires a helper to input custom scripts to fix things. I'm not yet trained to issue fixes for this, so I will only be looking at the log; I'm hoping that this log will reveal something about your problem
