How to convert a .amr phone recording to a dvd to play in cd player?

I have an audio recording from a smart phone that is currently in a .amr format and I need to burn it to a dvd so it can be played in a cd player

What/how can I do this?

Handbrake can convert from amr format into both MP4 and MKV. Those should be readable by many standard DVD players.
