I just returned my failing GPU and replaced it with a new one, still the same brand but with a working fan.

I wanted to hear from you guys some tips on how to prevent my GPU from failing again.

Any help would be appreciated

Well their is no trick to it. Just keep it clean. Hopefully the manufacture used a quality fan.

Yeah you probably can't do anything but to keep an eye on it. I would suggest grab a program that would monitor your fan speeds and/or control them. It could give you warnings when it detects irregular activity or when the fan slows down.

The lifespan of a fan depends on use and quality.

If you still have your Nvidia card use Precision X but you could also use third-party software like GPU-Z.
