Is there any way to stop Windows Explorer checking the integrity of links/shortcuts when I open a folder full of them? I have links to some folders that are only available over my home network, and if the networked computers are not all on, opening the folder containing all the shortcuts (not clicking on any of them) causes Explorer to hang, sometimes for half a minute. Annoying when the folder also contains non-network links I use regularly. (I know I could put all the network links into a different folder, but if the above can be accomplished, that would be a slightly better option...).
Googled this, but no results thus far... Thanks!
