Solved How to use both graphics card and motherboard graphics at once?

Hi, I've got this motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP.
I just went looking around the BIOS, and found out how to use my other monitor (connected via VGA port on motherboard) but not how to use both my graphics card and motherboard internal graphics (Graphics card for main display and motherboard display for alternate display) at the same time. I read that some motherboards can do this, and I would think that mine could, due to it being quite a good motherboard, but am I missing something? I can't seem to find it!

And help/answers will be awesome.

PS. the 2nd monitor is ONLY VGA and my graphics card only has ports for HDMI and DVI, I do have an adapter... for HDMI to DVI... Damn...

Depending on what Graphics Card you have ... You should be able to run two Monitors of the one Card ...

As for using the Internal and another Graphics Card at the same time ...

That is not possible ... Though it is true that your Motherboard supports Switchable Graphics ...

You'll have to search first if your motherboard is compatible.

Virtu MVP Enabled Products (which i saw in that list).

Check at the Overview tab of your Motherboard GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP, the "Lucid Universal MVP Support" chapter.

Then you'll have to install first from the Original Gigabyte CD that was given with your boxed motherboard bundle the "LucidLogix Virtu MVP" software.

Afterward having set it up and check it is working fine, you could always upgrade to the latest free: LucidLogix Virtu MVP v2.1.227 from Dec 22, 2013.

Remember that to be in order to "activate" the license of the Lucid software on your computer you'll have first to install from Gigabytes CD.

Thanks for the reply's I'm going to mark it solved, I guess my BIOS doesn't allow it. I just buy another HDMI monitor and get my DVI adapter and then both will be in the graphics card.

PS. That virtu-mvp thingy is just for game performance boost? (no I didn't read about it)

I have read on the forum that it was not possible to connect onboard graphics and video card graphics at the same time. People should be careful when you answer questions here so as not to mislead others. It may be possible that you were wrong about answering a question. I was told over a year ago that I cannot use my onboard graphics along with the video from the graphics card. I have been doing so for several months now. At first I was told that it is not possible so i didnt try. Then when i found out otherwise I was disappointed that i didnt know earlier. So, now i have it connected and it works. Perhaps not all systems can do it. My motherboard will do so. Motherboards can provide a source for onboard graphics along with the graphics card connection, so you can have HDMI from two sources.
