Hi, through this website I was able to successfully setup my HP Laserjet 1000 printer on my Windows 7 (32-bit) laptop (and on another XP PC as well)... I even printed test pages and everything... that was two days ago, now, everytime I try to print (from either of the two computers we have here) it marks an error as if the printer was not properly connected to my laptop... the cables are fine, the LED light is on, if I click on the little silver box below the parallel port, it rolls a new sheet and prints an engine test page fine.

The error message says to power off the printer, then unplug, plug back to pc and power on... (this printer doesn't have a power off button) the closest thing I found was the silver box on the backside.

The printer says "ready" until I send a test page from my pc... then it constantly shows the Error message... I already uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers but it keeps showing the same error... this is killing me!! I have to print tons of documents and I don't want to do it in our deskjet printer... the ink won't last for long it that one..

The toner is new and works fine, both power and parallel port cord cables are fine too... Please help! I'm in desperate need of my laserjet! Thanks
