Solved I cannot Access the website "Speedtest.net"

Hey, I am able to get back on to speedtest.net now. I just disabled and reenabled my W7 firewall.

With the W7 firewall turned on:
Restart your computer.
Then try to get to speedtest.net.
Let us know the results.

Im not having another issue with Outlook.com Now that i have restarted W7 firewall.

Yeah. I am able to access speedtest with the firewall off/on now. I don't know what caused it to start working again.

But i seem to be having issues with connections and a very slow PC, im really considering a clean install of windows 7 seeing as i have the disc still and i really dont mind. Ill just take care in what i install from now on i think. Is there a guide around on this site that will help me with a clean install?

Hey I followed the steps of the clean install you linked me and it has just installed a second windows instead of doing a clean install. This guide doesn't show me how to completely get rid of everything and install as if brand new.. I feel at the point of when you get to the partitions it should say something about formatting or whatever? Because all it's done is just install windows 7 In the same place again.

Hello Matt,

It sounds like you selected to install Windows to another location other than where your current Windows was installed at.

At steps 7 and 8 in the tutorial linked above, it'll help show you how to delete the disk that your current Windows is on until it's unallocated. :)
