Identify process preventing sleep/hibernate

I have an intermittent problem with system not following the active power plan and going into hybrid sleep mode as a result of user inactivity when it should do. Is there a system tool for querying what Windows process or application is preventing the system from sleeping? Surely there is a better way of identifying the culprit(s) than randomly shutting down processes one by one until sleep mode activates.

Hello, Welcome!

If such a tool exists, I have not heard about it before. Personally, I would save all my work, and end the processes manually using Task Manager.

There is a better way, but not much better. Shut down 1/2, if its not there, shut down 1/2 of those that remain etc etc. You will save a lot of time using this method.
