That's for a 4650 card and is already included in the .inf. You can use the first post of the thread to install. Enjoy.

Here you go bhuvanrox.

Download this: RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting

Extract to C:\ATI

Then right click card in device manager. Update driver software. Browse. Let me pick. Have disk. Browse. Find CL_51251.inf and double click on it. Hit ok to let it install.

Enjoy.

Hello,

this the third post quoted - Bhuvanrox requesting a .inf file for his XPress M200 card. I have the same card but the hardware id's on my system do look slightly different though:

Hello,

this the third post quoted - Bhuvanrox requesting a .inf file for his XPress M200 card. I have the same card but the hardware id's on my system do look slightly different though:

Hi. Install this driver by extracting it to C:\ATI first by running it. After extraction is complete, then immediately close the installer.

Then go to the device manager. Right click standard vga in display properties. Update driver software. Browse my computer. Let me pick. Have disk. Browse.

Navigate to somewhere in C:\ATI to find the .inf. Double click it. Hit ok. Hit next and let it install.

Reboot. Choose an Aero theme and you could also run setup.exe somewhere in C:\ATI to install the CCC.

Enjoy!

Thanks for your reply.

I actually tried uninstalling the drivers and even using Driver Sweeper to try and erase the drivers' remains but the problem occured again and the option to install the CCC through the installer doesn't appear. Is there any problem related to using the Hotfix CCC with your drivers?

Still, even with your drivers, I can't get the same performance I had when I initially installed Windows 7 on OpenGL games, Direct3d ones was only slightly better. The problem is I tried so many different installers that I don't remember what I did exactly to achieve it. I don't know if the fact that I changed screens might have anything to do with loss of performance either. I used to have an old 17" CRT @ 1024x768 and now I'm using a 27" @ 1920x1200 on W7 although I set the display settings in-game to 1024x768. Also the old display was connected through the VGA port and now I'm using DVI. Does that cause aditional stress on the card?

Thank you very much and sorry for my overall noobieness : )

I've read somewhere that the installer doesn't install it because it doesn't recognize the driver in use, which was installed using your .inf.

You're welcome.

That's completely false. The CCC will install well using Custom Mode of installation as opposed to Express, if you're having trouble.

If not, then the driver itself is not installed well or you have some other system trouble related to software.

Mine shows "up to date" because it's installed already.

Sounds like something specific is going on there related to software in general on the system. A clean install is recommended and ensure that lots of things do not start in Windows at boot, with the pc.

I didn't alter any driver. The one in use is straight from ATI. The only thing altered is the .inf so it actually installs and nothing else.

The latest 9.11 driver is one of the best lately in a long line of goodness.

Damn, I tested it with the VGA output from the card with the VGA-DVI adapter and I'm back to good ol' 90-100fps... I had no idea that the digital output would stress the card this much but I guess it makes sense! ; )

I've downloaded the drivers from the HP site but these seem to be actually outdated in relation to those provided by the Windows Updater (v.1.0 - 2008 / v.2.0 - 2009), also they still don't have any drivers for Windows 7 but I think it should work with the Vista 32-bit version.

This was what I got though:

Doesn't seem to have installed correctly even though I uninstalled the previous ones and deleted the related files. I tried setting the compatibility to Windows Vista on the installer but the dropdown box on the properties is disabled :\

No. That's an nForce2 board. It is almost guaranteed not to work because NVIDIA dropeed support long before Vista arrived. If there is any chance at all, it will be extremely tough to get going. Advice: Stick with XP.

Windows update, in the meantime and all by itself, found a driver it asked me to install. It actually works.... amazing, windows update working as it should. ('optional updates' had to be checked in order for this to work)

No tips. This driver install method already uses WDDM 1.1, the best you could have.

Which motherboard and are you getting error code 43?

Hey Torrentg,

I have the ATI Sapphire HD 3650 AGP 512MB DDR2. I have tried everything.

At first i had the pc running on vista, which worked great with the ati driver. But now i installed a windows 7 32 bit, and at first, it doesnt even do anything when i install the driver. Then i found a driver that did install everything, and it works great, however, when i start to do anything with the pc, it crashed, bluescreen, sometimes it repairs itselfe.

Then i folllowed your instructions on this topic, and for the first time, the pc actually says that i have a 3650 card. However, it still crashes. I really dont understand why, it gets more then enough power, the card works fine.

Could you help me?

Which motherboard do you have? If it's nForce3 or below, I can't because NVIDIA dropped support for it. Otherwise, I we can try to see what the issue is.

Do you have any exclamation points in the device manager?
