Per thread title, i installed the usb 3.0 driver from the asus website and now my mouse and keyboard wont connect. I tried plugging them into every usb port on my motherboard and it just wont work. I noticed beforehand (Before i tried installing any drivers) when i looked in device manager they were set up automatically as PS/2 ports which i thought was strange. I cannot log into windows at this time since my keyboard and mouse wont connect. I am able to use the keyboard and mouse in my bios though. Is there a way i can uninstall the driver i installed using command prompt without logging into the computer? The only fix i can think of is reinstalling windows but i wanted to check with the forum before doing so. Thanks in advance for the help.

Ok that helped, this isn't going to sound very technical but i pounded on the f5 key until that screen popped up. The repair screen didn't show up but boot with last known config did so i selected that now I'm able to log in yay! Thank you! :)

You could also check the bios and make sure the USB ports are enabled.
I also recommend using USB 2.0 for mouse and keyboards.
Sometimes it also helps to disable Quick Boot or Fast Boot, what ever it is called.
