my intel rapid storage technolgy icon shows not running.on opening the application some thing like detecting problem occurs and it closes automatically.plz suugest me a solution.i'm confused..

You might want to uninstall the application from Control panel => "programs and features", then reinstall the Intel Rapid storage Technology. See if it's works.

Sounds like you need to reinstall your Intel Drivers for the Intel GUI Graphics interface. Seeing you have a Dell, you should be able to get your drivers from their support site and reinstall them.

Sometimes this happens to me as well when I restart my system. Just give it a minute and it will start. I've notice no disk problems while it's waiting to start.

I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it's not starting at all.
