Hi All
hope you guys can help me out, recently my laptop has gone very eratic...screen going small, no control over cursor, jumping in and out of screens etc, I was told by my service provider it was because when prompted I upgraded to internet explorer 9 and this was not compatable and is causing problems for windows 7. Has anyone had similar problems and can you advise what browser I should be running, this problem has gone on for several weeks and I have tried system restore and uninstalling, using safari, using google chrome etc etc.

any advice appreciated

Regards

Bob

bobz1b,

* Of course IE9 is compatible with Win 7.
The links below may be of help.

* Re which Browser should you be running...

That is a matter of personal choice.
Try whatever takes your fancy.
Make an informed decision & move on.

Dear bobz1b,
I have only two browsers,IE9 and Waterfox. I have actually uninstalled Opera Browser after it started misbehaving;). I 'sandbox the browser for safety and that's it! I religiously clean using Ccleaner. Do you have it?

regards and best wishes!

hi all

me again still with the same problem my lap top has been to the shop 9£25) and has been given a clean bill of health My service provider (BT Broadband) assure me my connection is fine and I have even paid for a lead (£34) to rule the wireless connection out.....anyway still got the same problems, basically the lap top is schitzophrenic ..twitching , jumping out of screens , screen getting smaller,no control over the cursor, I have even logged on and my desk top icons have split or spereated into two halves...all very bizarre. All I can equate the time of the fault to is a BT line update in the area and around the same time I was prompted to update on windows to internet explorer 9...I honestly dont know what tto do next it must be to do with settings??? or some incompatability ??
please help

regards

Bob
