Internet not connected Through proxy

I am very worried .... i have a hp dv4 1506 laptop .
problem is " when connected through proxy internet explorer not save user id and passwor...but firefox 3.6 connected through proxy smoothly. i dont know how to solve it........please reply ASAP.

could we get some specifis on your network stetup. How do you connect to the internet?

Your query is not clear to provide a solution. Trying to help you according to assumptions..

Is proxy settings configured in IE?
Do you browse internet after providing a username and password in your intranet webpage? If yes, and IE doesnt remember this password, follow the steps below,

Open IE, go to tools, internet options, content, autocomplete and turn on the option to remember passwords.

This should save the password for you. Once you type in the username and highlight the password field, the stored password is automatically filled by IE.

This is server client architecture . We are in a same lan and one pc configured as a proxy . the pc ip is 10.4.96.4 and port is 8080. My operating system is windows 7 home premium . problem is " when connected through proxy internet explorer pop up user id and password for connecting proxy but user id and password shown in windows credential manger and internet explorer not running through proxy But install firefox and connected through proxy smoothly. i dont know how to solve this issueit........please reply ASAP.
