Is my INTEL ATOM dual core?

it say's 2CPU. does that mean my intel atom is dual core? i just wanna so i can use it as an advantage, to speedup startup maybe.

It is a single core but it shows as 2 cpu because it uses Hyper-Threading Technology.

As usual YupYup is correct its like a Pentium P-IV with hyper thread. Not a bad processor I have 3 of them.
