Is there a way to download and extract Windows Update drivers?

I am doing a project for a corporation that has disabled Windows Update on all of their computers. I need to install a wide range of printers on these systems, but allot of these drivers are only available on Windows Update for these Windows 7 systems, which is making it extremely difficult for me to install these printers.

Is there someplace where I can download all Windows Update printer drivers, or a way to download and extract them myself?

and search for the printers/devices, and if available you can then download them.

In addition I would let the corporation IT geniuses know you need access to do your job. It would seem they could allow you a password or something to get the printers' drivers.

I've been trying to get with IT to see if they have a solution but there is too much bureaucracy and red tape.

Your IT dept apparently has tight reins on your systems, I would inform them of what you need, and let them do it, or assist you [their job].
