Laptop and its battery?

What is best? If you run on AC most of the time is it better to charge the battery and take it out and cycle it once a month or just leave the battery in the laptop all the time (running on AC)?

If your not in need of the battery, its best to disconnect it. Then when you do use it, unplug power supply and dischsrge battery before recharging.
