Solved Laptop BSOD - Freezing - Shutdowns (Attachment uploaded)

hello. the problem just started today. I've been having bluescreens, freezes and instant shutdowns all together. I also had no video issue when I started the laptop right after it shut down. it booted but nothing on the screen. after shutting it down and waiting a minute it went back to normal and didnt happen again.

i got bluescreen when I plugged the mouse out, I got bluescreen when I plugged a controller in, I also got a bluescreen when I moved the laptop suddenly.

I reseated and swapped the ram modules - problem still persists.

its probably not heat, as it happened several times both when it was 85c and when it was around 55c.

hi, are you sure its software related? my windows is not original. when I got the bsod it said "hardware failure" for about 0.5 seconds and switched to normal bluescreen.

normal fix is to run the windows activation technologies genuine hotfix - KB971033
Further you appear to be using an ACER product key on a LG computer

it had come with 32 bit, and along the way I had a system problem and instead of using the 32x disc i installed a 64 bit. whats the big matter? should I have paid another 150$? I also dont like win 8 or 10.

I think you had enough clue from the huge chunk of reports I provided that it had nothing to do with windows being not original, yet you still asked for it so that you could find some reason to not help the problem.

there were all kinds of instructions on bsod help page but none of it said "we will try to bait you into saying that your windows is not original BEFORE we even think about the problem, then we will refuse to offer any help. so if its not original dont open a thread"

I think you should add that to the instructions page. look at your last post, it has nothing to do with my problem again. thanks for nothing.

Solution!

so for anyone experiencing the same problems the faulty part was the RAM. specifically (and worse) one of the ram slots.

it should have been clear to torchwood above that it had nothing to do with software when I stated I had 'no video' issue when at POST.

but its very interesting that a faulty ram can cause a HUGE chunk of problems such as;

no graphic input at start
random freezes
random shutdowns
bluescreens
bluescreens when plugging usb in or out

I hoped it to be a ram module issue but both modules are fine, its just one of the slots is broken. so, check your ram before anything else people, it causes a lot of problems.
