Lenovo no internet after reinstall

I just reinstalled windows 7 on a lenovo g575 laptop. I installed 64bit. It doesn't have any drivers after the install obviously. So what I normally do is hard wire the laptop to the Internet to obtained the drivers. Well when I hook up the ethernet cable it shows I have no network connections. I don't have the drivers disk or the install disk. Just the win7 disk.

I read online that if you press the f11 key upon start up it does it that way. Well I tried that but I guess it doesn't work because I've already reinstalled windows.

Any idea why I am getting no network connections when I'm hardwired

can you post a screen shot of device manager? sounds like you will need the lan driver to get online. on an internet connected computer go here and download the drivers and transfer them to the non internet computer.
