Limited To No Internet Access On Lenovo V570

Greetings ladies and gentlemen:



Lenovo Ideapad V570 Windows 7 Netgear N300 router with at&t DSL siemans 4100 speedstream modem using Mozilla firefox 31.0
windows security essentials firewall, superantispyware anti virus

There is 2nd Lenovo Idea pad Z580 with Windows 8.1 and an Android phone on the home network with has no issues connecting,


Started a couple of months ago with taking 5-7 mins to connect to home internet
has become progressively worse now taking at least 25 mins to connect at home (with another 30 mins to get to the next page) and I cannot connect to a public wifi network at all.


Netgear router genie program messages: DNS not working, unable to reach DHCP, invalid gateway
fails ping test.


I often have the yellow ! With a limited internet access message or a no internet access message
but cannot access internet even without error message


I have uninstalled and reinstalled adaptor drivers and selected obtain IP and DNS address automatically


Device manager, other devices, Intel Centrino, Wireless N + WIMAX 6150 has yellow ! after attempted driver updates


Thought the problem was my internal wifi card and started using a USB wifi lan with the same results.


I am will not always be able to access 2nd computer so I may be slow at answering questions
I am not a techie so please bear with me.
