Hi there,
This is really frustrating. Almost every time I try to download a document/video it stops after a few seconds and doesn't start again. I've tried with IE8, Safari, Firefox and Chrome. They're all the same.
I'm using Windows 7 and a Lynksys router.
My wife has XP on her laptop and it downloads without a problem on the same router.
We're wondering if this is an issue with 7 and Lynksys?
I'm using a Dell Inspiron 1545 with 4GB RAM.
It's been getting worse so I'd love it if anyone could shed some light on this.
Thanks.

Welcome to Seven Forums g44. I take it this is a wireless connection? If so, have you tried connecting hard wired to see if problem persists? A Guy

Hi A Guy,
Yes, I plugged the laptop directly into the ISP's wireless modem to bypass the linksys router but it made no difference, so it seems to not be the router. We have a wireless broadband connection.
Both XP machines download well, it's just my windows 7 one that has the problem. I was wondering if the ISP could be having a problem with 7. The ISP did admit that there were too many trees in between our house and the tower, but I can't see how that would affect only the Win 7 machine and not the others.
Thanks
