By chance I did a Google search for a live boot disc for windows 7 and Google had this video by broken glass which he show how it can be done . I'm able to boot with it now ... It uses the xenon file manager , it has a few apps , though I need to ask him how one can load drivers into it . I would post his video website if it's allow but I'm new here and I am not sure it's ok or not . If by chance anybody might be interested. They can also do a search like I did

I believe it would be considered an illegal copy of Win7 since it cannot be activated.
What exactly do you want to run Win7 from a DVD for? Do you have a System Repair Disk?

I guess for repairs if need be ... What other reason would someone want to ? No I don't have a system repair disk ... If it's illegal why then is there other so call disk that can do the same and have been around for a long time ??? ... Bart , Ultimate and so on ...and don't even get started with the pay ones or are the pay types different ?

My understanding is that the popular boot disks worked out the software licensing exemptions with MS and others to use it as shareware. However these only use XP which is a dead issue now anyway.
I believe that running Win7 on a bootable disk without activation is not allowed for discussion in the forums because any use which does not or cannot activate is considered bootleg. You can ask the Administrators if you want to pursue it.
For repairs all that you need is the Win7 installation DVD or System Repair Disk, even to rescue files: Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console

Well then I don't want to do anything against the forum rules , So I guess its best it end now ...
No offense to you or this forum but all this is new to me and I think all of this illegal/ legal stuff is BS . IF the American government is so damn against privacy ? I am curious why they have done NOTHING with countries like China / Asia /Thai/ Russia were there is nothing but illegal stuff going on , again this could go on for ever and it probably best it just ends here ...
