Live Mail 2011 Update ruined everthing

Windows updated a bunch of things one being Live Mail 2011. Ever since then at times a have no mail even though I can see the mail on other mail sources and download the mail. Other times I send mail and it says in the sent folder they have been sent. But the person I sent to never gets the mail. I can send it through other email sources and they will get the mail. There are no error messages that come up. Ever since this update I have had nothing but problems with email.

The Windows Live Essentials 2011 Package on Windows Update is the same one that became available as a separate download last December. It has at least one bug having to do with Junk mail filtering in WLM that requires a repair via Programs and Features of the Essentials package. If the repair doesn't work, you could try going back to the previous version, without the ribbon, but you must revert all the components of the Essentials Package. In addition, since WLMessenger requires 2011, you won't be able to use Messenger at all:
