Loading Pics taking time

Hello Folks

As you can see in the SS below , it takes a lot of time to load a folder which contains lot of images.

When I try to copy paste in that folder while loading ,explorer hangs.Please help

Hello Seven,

Turning off thumbnail previews should speed it right up. However, if you wanted to keep them turned on, then let it finish loading all of the thumbnails first before trying to copy and paste to see if that may help.

Here is SS when thumbnail is disabled

When I open pictures in D E Drive ( other than C Drive ) , the pics load faster.The problem is only in C Drive.

Shot in the dark ----- Maybe try indexing the drive ?

In the Control Panel under "Indexing options" You will see a "modify" option, just go in there and choose where you would like the indexing to occur
