Loading Problem After Benchmark

After running 3DMark06 on my laptop, everything started running slow from windows starting up to opening programs and such. I've tried doing a system restore to the point where I just installed 3DMarks but it still takes forever for things to load up. I am running out of options on what I should do and was wondering if anyone has some advice for me... Is it possible for a benchmarking program being too much for a computer? Mine is such a low end laptop that I only got like 1 fps on each of the tests... I'm thinking about uninstalling programs but i don't think its the problem. Anyways, thanks in advance. Any help is appreciated.

Benchmarking progams really stress test anyones system just reboot and you should be fine. Also are you running the most updated version of 3d mark 06?

I've rebooted so many times. Still doesn't work. As for the version I downloaded it from the futuremark website so I'm pretty sure it's the newest version of 3DMark06. Sometimes when i manually do a shutdown it restarted my laptop. I don't know why. Everything just started running crappy after it so I don't know what's going on.

well i think i found the problem thats slowing down my laptop. It's a virus called Hijack that i guess infected my registry editor files "NODESKTOPCHANGES" which is a binary file. Can I delete the file or do i have to install a program to remove Hijack?
