hi there,
i have antec 300 but i am looking for a better case i don't mind the case i got at the moment but this case is a dust magnet i do my best to keep it clean but all my efforts are in vain so i looking a better ATX case that has dust filters like the Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 but from what i can tell it's the same height as my current case even though the power supply is behind the motherboard and not at the bottom. anyway i'm not fussy and i would like suggestions the only thing is that it has to support ATX and not be a dust magnet thanks

Computer Hardware, Computer Cases, Computer Cases, NZXT, Antec, Fractal Design, ATX Mid Tower, No, $75 - $100, $50 - $75, No, $25 - $50, New - Newegg.com

Above is a list of 14 cases at Newegg. All are midtower ATX cases between $25 and $100 from 3 pretty good brands: Antec, Fractal Design, and NZXT. All without power supplies. It excludes cases with 80 mm fans.

You should be able to find a good candidate from that list. I'd probably lean toward Fractal Design.

If you can spend up to $200, the list expands to 20 cases:

"Dust magnet" is often related to household conditions, whether the case is kept at floor level, and your fan setup---as well as the case itself. Cases with a lot of vents, grills, and fan openings are just prone to more dust and more noise. Maybe noise doesn't bother you?

Take a look at this case.

Their is more to this dust problem that just buying a case. Although a proper case will help.

You must make sure you have positive pressure in the case and that their are not openings in the case that are not needed.

I block all openings that are not needed and I use magnetic filters if needed.
My build has 14 fans. All intake air is filtered and all exhaust air goes out through the top 360 rad at the top.
Controlling the air intake and exhaust flow to me is a must.
