Hello,

New to this forum and need your help.

I install Win 7 off an SCCM server that is controlled by our corporate office in another country. They do not want to tweak the SCCM to improve my workload or give us more control to modify/script the SCCM to meet our needs. I have the daunting task of configuring Win 7 everyday with the same tweaks and/or installation of software after the SCCM has completed.

Looking to streamline this process as much as possible and have not been able to find anything even close to what I need or if it's even available.

Need the software to open programs and make tweaks/setting changes within the programs. Change settings in IE and explorer , install programs from our server, then install. Some software needs a reboot, then tweaked out.

I know I'm asking for alot, but if I can find anything that might help me in anyway to speed up the configuration process for our users it would be greatly appreciated. :geek:

Welcome to the Seven Forums.

AutoIt can do what you want.

You can either automate the GUI (i.e. click/type where a human would) or just automate changes to the registry and files or use a combination of those two methods.

If you don't like the syntax of AutoIt, you can look at a fork named AutoHotKey. I've used both and I like AutoIt... but I cannot recommend AutoIt's somewhat rude support forum - YMMV.
